Morning Watch The All-inclusive Agape Love (4) Nov. 28-Dec. 4, 2016

Monday 11/28

Matt. 5:43-48 (44-45)

43You have heard that it was said, "You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.''
44But I say to you, Love your enemies, and pray for those who persecute you,
45So that you may become sons of your Father who is in the heavens, because He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good and sends rain on the just and the unjust.
46For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same?
47And if you greet only your brothers, what better thing are you doing? Do not even the Gentiles do the same?
48You therefore shall be perfect as your heavenly Father is perfect.

Matt. 22:37

37And He said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.''

Luke 7:41-47 (41, 42, 47)

41A certain moneylender had two debtors: one owed five hundred denarii and the other fifty.
42But since they had nothingwithwhichto repay, he graciously forgave them both. Which of them therefore will love him more?
43Simon answered and said, I suppose the one whom he graciously forgave the more. And He said to him, You have judged correctly.
44And turning to the woman, He said to Simon, Do you see this woman? I entered into your house; you did not give Me water for My feet, but she, with her tears, has wet My feet and with her hair has wiped them.
45You did not give Me a kiss, but she, from the time I entered, has not stopped kissing My feet affectionately.
46You did not anoint My head with oil, but she has anointed My feet with ointment.
47For this reason I say to you, Her sins which are many are forgiven, because she loved much; but to whom little is forgiven, he loves little.

Luke 10:33-37 (33-35, 37)

33But a certain Samaritan, who was journeying, came upon him; and when he saw him, he was moved with compassion;
34And he came to himand bound up his wounds and poured oil and wine on them.And placing him on his own beast, he brought him to an inn and took care of him.
35And on the next day he took out two denarii and gave themto the innkeeper and said, Take care of him; and whatever you spend in addition tothis,when I return, I will repay you.
36Which of these three, does it seem to you, has become a neighbor to him who fell into thehandsof the robbers?
37And he said, The one who showed mercy to him. And Jesus said to him, Go, and you do likewise.

I John 2:5

5But whoever keeps His word, truly in this one the love of God has been perfected. In this we know that we are in Him.

John 17:26

26And I have made Your name known to them and will yetmake itknown, that the love with which You have loved Me may be in them, and I in them.

Rom 5:5

5And hope does not put usto shame, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.

1 Cor. 8:1-3

1Now concerning things sacrificed to idols, we know that we all have knowledge. Knowledge puffs up, but love builds up.
2If anyone thinks that he knows anything, he has not yet come to know as he ought to know;
3But if anyone loves God, this one is known by Him.

2 Cor. 13:11, 14

11Finally, brothers, rejoice, be perfected, be comforted, think the same thing, be at peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.

14The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

Rom. 8:31-39 (38-39)

31What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who canbeagainst us?
32Indeed, He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not also with Him freely give us all things?
33Who shall bring a charge against God's chosen ones? It is God who justifies.
34Who is he who condemns? It is Christ Jesus who died and, rather, who was raised, who is also at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.
35Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation or anguish or persecution or famine or nakedness or peril or sword?
36As it is written, "For Your sake we are being put to death all day long; we have been accounted as sheep for slaughter.''
37But in all these things we more than conquer through Him who loved us.
38For I am persuaded that neither death nor life nor angels nor principalities nor things present nor things to come nor powers
39Nor height nor depth nor any other creature will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Rom. 12:9

9Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good.

Gal. 2:20

20I am crucified with Christ; and itisno longer I wholive, but itisChrist wholives in me; and the lifewhich I now live in the flesh I live in faith, the faithof the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.

Gal. 5:22-23

22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
23Meekness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

Eph. 3:14-21 (16-19)

14For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father,
15Of whom every family in the heavens and on earth is named,
16That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit into the inner man,
17That Christ may make His home in your hearts through faith, that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
18May be full of strength to apprehend with all the saints what the breadth and length and height and depth are
19And to know the knowledge-surpassing love of Christ, that you may be filled unto all the fullness of God.
20But to Him who is able to do superabundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power which operates in us,
21To Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus unto all the generations forever and ever. Amen.

Phil. 2:1-5 (1-4)

1If there is therefore any encouragement in Christ, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship of spirit, if any tenderheartedness and compassions,
2Make my joy full, that you think the same thing, having the same love, joined in soul, thinking the one thing,
3Doingnothing by way of selfish ambition nor by way of vainglory, but in lowliness of mind considering one another more excellent than yourselves;
4Not regarding each his own virtues, but each the virtues of others also.
5Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus,

Col 3:14

14And over all these things putonlove, which is the uniting bond of perfectness.

1 John 3:14, 18

14We know that we have passed out of death into life because we love the brothers. He who does not love abides in death.

18Little children, let us not love in word nor in tongue but in deed and truthfulness.

Phil. 1:9

9And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in full knowledge and all discernment,

1 Thes. 3:6, 12

6But Timothy, having just come to us from you and announcing the good news to us of your faith and love and that you have kind remembrance of us always and long to see us, just as we also you,

12And the Lord cause you to increase and abound in love to one another and to all, just as we also to you,

1 Thes. 4:9

9Now concerning brotherly love, you have no need formeto write to you, for you yourselves are taught of God to love one another;

Col. 1:8-13 (11)

8Who also has made known to us your love in the Spirit.
9Therefore we also, since the day we heard of it,do not cease praying and asking on your behalf that you may be filled with the full knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,
10To walk worthily of the Lord to please Himin all things, bearing fruit in every good work and growing by the full knowledge of God,
11Being empowered with all power, according to the might of His glory, unto all endurance and long-suffering with joy,
12Giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you for a share of the allotted portion of the saints in the light;
13Who delivered us out of the authority of darkness and transferred usinto the kingdom of the Son of His love,

1 Tim. 1:5

5But the end of the charge is love out of a pure heart and outofa good conscience and outofunfeigned faith;

1 John 2:9-10

9He who says he is in the light and yet hates his brother is in the darkness until now.
10He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no cause of stumbling in him;

Friday 12/2

1 John 4:7-8, 11-13, 16

7Beloved, let us love one another, because love is of God, and everyone who loves has been begotten of God and knows God.
8He who does not love has not known God, because God is love.

11Beloved, if God has loved us in this way, we also ought to love one another.
12No one has beheld God at any time; if we love one another, God abides in us, and His love is perfected in us.

13In this we know that we abide in Him and He in us, that He has given to us of His Spirit.

16And we know and have believed the love which God has in us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God and God abides in him.

1 John 5:1-2

1Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been begotten of God, and everyone who loves Him who has begotten loves him also who has been begotten of Him.
2In this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and do His commandments.

Rev. 1:5

5And from Jesus Christ, the faithful Witness, the Firstborn of the dead, and the Ruler of the kings of the earth. To Him who loves us and has released us from our sins by His blood

John 13:34-35

34A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
35By this shall all men know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.

John 15:9-10

9As the Father has loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love.
10If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; even as I have kept My Father's commandments and abide in His love.

I Cor. 13:4-8

4Love suffers long. Love is kind; it is not jealous. Love does not brag andis not puffed up;
5It does not behave unbecomingly anddoes not seek its own things; it is not provoked anddoes not take account of evil;
6It does not rejoice because of unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth;
7It covers all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8Love never falls away.But whether prophecies, they will be rendered useless; or tongues, they will cease; or knowledge, it will be rendered useless.

1 John 4:17-19

17In this has love been perfected with us, that we may have boldness in the day of the judgment because even as He is,soalso are we in this world.
18There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear because fear has punishment, and he who fears has not been perfected in love.
19We love because He first loved us.

1 John 5:3

3For this is the love of God, that we keep His commandments; and His commandments are not burdensome.

Lord’s Day 12/4

1 John 4:7-16

7Beloved, let us love one another, because love is of God, and everyone who loves has been begotten of God and knows God.
8He who does not love has not known God, because God is love.
9In this the love of God was manifested among us, that God sent His only begotten Son into the world that we might have life and live through Him.
10Herein is love, not that we have loved God but that He loved us and sent His Son as a propitiation for our sins.
11Beloved, if God has loved us in this way, we also ought to love one another.
12No one has beheld God at any time; if we love one another, God abides in us, and His love is perfected in us.
13In this we know that we abide in Him and He in us, that He has given to us of His Spirit.
14And we have beheld and testify that the Father has sent the Son as the Savior of the world.
15Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him and he in God.
16And we know and have believed the love which God has in us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God and God abides in him.
