Understanding the role of Lead Professional and

How to ‘Chair’ a Team Around the Child (TAC) meeting

Target Group / Staff working with Children in Swindon
Course Description / Many people are confident about working with children and young people and their families. However once a "need" is identified and assessed our processes require a key worker to step forward as a Lead Professional. This role can be daunting if no one has explained what is involved.
Also managing the meeting where the common assessment framework can be pivotal to the families aspirations often causes anxiety. This training offers some golden rules and advice for those who have limited experience of conducting a meeting where children and young people are the Agenda.
