My thanks to the Officers and committee of the SGRS for their hospitality at this well run, friendly show. I was very pleased to see so many of the entry presented in good muscular condition and beautifully presented despite the dreary weather conditions.

1st Fenn’s CHALKSVILLE MAJOR PURSUIT AT JANDEBURN ShCM
Appealing gentle masculine head with dark kind eye. Straight front, nicely up on his pasterns, well muscled throughout,goodlay of shoulder, level topline, good sturdy rear angulation.Presented a pleasing outline with his full gold coat.Moved straight and true.
2nd Morrell’s CROWSHOT ONYX RHYTHM JW Just two dogs in this class, but both a pleasure to judge, with my remarks on 1st applying to both. Just preferred rear quarters on 1st.

1st Lewis & Hunter’s ALIBREN MYSTIC MORGAN AT ALLOUEMDAN
Masculine head with lovely soft gentle expression, dark eye, good pigment and neat ears. Loved his outline and overall balance. Lovely straight front, well off for bone, with lovely cat like round feet, up on his pasterns.Good angulation front and rear. Moved with drive and animation.
2nd Loach’s THORNYWAIT ONE STEP BEYONDPUTJADE
Another good quality promising youngster with gentle masculine head, well proportioned body and good angulation front and rear. Good length of neck into nicely laid shoulders and level topline. Just the right substance for his age. Striding out with good drive.
3rd Tratt’s ALIBREN MISTIC MILO

1st Wicklow’s GILLBRYAN TRIVOLINO Good size pale dog, not always at one with his handler, but loved his soundness and quality.Gentle masculine head, just right for a puppy, sturdy neck, level topline. Good angulation front and rear, deep through the heart, good bone, round feet, beautifully turned out, moved straight and true with style

1st Purvis’ POPPYGOLD SHOOTING STAR.Beautiful mid gold boy, lovely gentle, masculine head with such a kindly dark eye. Good length of neck sweeping into well laid shoulders, and level topline. Lovely straight legs front and rear, round feet, well boned, up on his pasterns. Moved straight and true.
2nd Andrews’ CATCOMBE CHALLENGER Gentle masculine expression, loved his gentle dark eye and good pigment. Well proportioned body, nothing exaggerated, good neck flowing on to a level topline and a body of good substance and condition. Moving well.

1st Kirby’s AMBERGOLD ELITE. compact, well balanced dog with good reach of neck , beautifully presented in his mid gold coat. Pleasing head with soft expression, good bone, nicely angled front and rear with good straight legs.Moved straight and true with drive and animation.
2nd Gowland & Gibbons’ REMINGTON ROSSI Liked his outline, nothing exaggerated or over extended. Gentle masculine head with a kind eye, good length of neck into well laid shoulders, good angulation front and rear, not quite in best coat today. Moved straight and true.

1st Morrell’s GLENNESSA CONTRABAND OF CROWSHOTT.Gentle masculine expression with good pigment. Well proportioned outline, with nothing exaggerated. Good straight legs front and rear, with round catlike feet, up on his pasterns.Moved straight and true with animation.
2nd Taylor’s TREBETTYN TERYRNON TO TANNADICE JWMasculine head with a gentle expression, deep through the heart, level topline, tail set on correctly over gentle bend of stifle. All giving a pleasing balanced outline.

1st Howard & Sharpe’s TORSINKI LORD OF THE DANCE AT GLENAVONLiked this good quality dog very much. Gentle expression with a lovely kind dark eye, well boned, round feet, lovely balanced outline with good front anglulation, good forechest gentle bend of stifle and hocks nicely placed in line with the root of his tail.Moved with drive and purpose.
2nd Goddard’s TREBETTYN JAILHOUSE ROCK AT KARAMUSKMasculine expression, good pigment, good length of neck into well laid shoulders and a level topline which he kept when moving. Well muscled with a sturdy well angled rear, all giving a very pleasing outline.

1st Muncey’s KENNELRIDGE MAESTRO Lovely dog in outline, beautifully presented in his full gold coat. Gentle masculine expression, powerful flowing neck, good front angulation with plenty of forechest, and a deep muscled body. Short couplings to a sturdy well angled rear with hocks set correctly under the root of the tail. Certainly considered him in the final lineup. Moved with drive and animation.
2nd Swatton’s SUNTIDE CERSIDIUM JW The remarks for the class winner in the main applied to this handsome chap.Lovely balanced outline with everything in the right place, good bone, up on his toes, moving straight and true.

1st Loach & Zubair’s PUTJADE PAJAZZO Lovely well muscled powerful chap with a gentle but so appealing masculine head. Good reach of neck, well laid shoulders, straight legs front and rear, good forechest, well bodied. Sturdy bone,good round feet, gentle bend of stifle on sturdy wide rear end. Moved with drive, considered in the final line up.
2nd Whitby’s CRISANSA A PERFECT STORM JW ShCM Liked this boy for his good construction throughout, pleased to place him in this strong class, beautifully presented in his full golden coat, good forechest, deep through the heart, good bone.

Strong topline with broad sturdy rear quarters and short let down hocks. Caught the eye on the move with his full glamorous coat and easy flowing movement. Pleased to award him the RCC

1st Morss’ XANTHOS ESPIONAGE A pleasure to put hands on this handsome chap with his beautiful front angulation, good forechest and elbows tightly tucked in. Level topline, short coupled, sturdy broad rear quarters, with good second thigh. Gentle expression and head, lovely dark eye and good pigment. Presented in full golden coat and hard muscular condition.Moved at one with his handler, straight and true with drive and animation. A worthy winner of the C.C. today, and delighted to see him later go B.I.S.
2nd Fanning’s JEMSTY SPECIAL EDITION. Lovely dog unplaced in a strong post graduate class. Typical gentle head with dark eye, good balanced outline, lovely sweep of neck into well laid shoulders. Gentle bend of stifle, hocks well let down. good bone, neat round feet, moved with drive.
