MARSHALL COUNTY CROSS-COUNTRY INVITATIONAL
WHEN: Saturday, October 18, 2008
WHERE: Marshall County High School Campus, located one mile off Exit 47 of the Purchase Parkway on Hwy 68 in Draffenville, KY.
WHO: This meets draws approximately 35 each boys and girls teams and 20 each boys and girls middle school teams. States participating include Tennessee, Missouri, Illinois, and all of Kentucky.
MEET SCHEDULE:
9:00 AM Coaches meeting (at the Finish Line)
9:30 AM Elementary School Race 1 mile
10:00 AM Girls Varsity 5000 meters
10:45 AM Boys Varsity 5000 meters
11:25 AM Girls Middle School 4000 meters
12:00 PM Boys Middle School 4000 meters
12:30 PM Awards Presentation at Grigg’s One Room Schoolhouse
Concessions available: burgers, drinks, chips, candy, etc. Free burger and drink for coaches. T-shirts for sale.
SCORING:
The varsity races will be scored using Hy-Tek software. Runners will be assigned numbers and the numbers MUST be placed on the front of the jersey. The numbers will contain a barcode which will be scanned into the computer upon finishing.
