Hawaii Foursquare District High School Camp
Aloha Parents/Guardians,
I am so excited for this summer! This summer, we will be participating in our fifth Legacy High School Camp that will be taking place right here at New Hope Hilo Hawaii, from July 19-23, 2016! For the last four years, we have seen the lives of our high school students be impacted for all of eternity because of what takes place at Legacy. Legacy is much more than a camp…it’s an experience in which many youth come to experience the love of Jesus Christ and build friendships with other high school students from all over the Hawaiian Islands.
If you were to ask any high school student that has attended our previous Legacy camps, I’m pretty sure they wouldn’t only tell you of all the fun and excitement that takes place during camp, but also the heart-hitting and life-opening experiences that they experience as the Gospel of Jesus Christ is revealed.
This year, our theme is “AWAKEN THE FORCE.” Many of our high school students don’t realize the full potential that God has placed within them and His plans for their lives. With some insane and outrageous games, intense praise and worship, soul-seeking messages, and heart to heart moments throughout the camp, we see teens surrender and start living a life that will leave a legacy for Jesus Christ.
The registration cost for Legacy is $150. We have several fundraisers going on to help offset the cost for our district summer camps. If you recycle cans or bottles, we have an account set up at Atlas Recycling. Just bring your recyclables and let them know you want to donate them to Relentless Youth Ministry.

We are so excited that your student(s) will be joining us for the Hawaii District High School Summer Camp this year! A lot of prayer and preparation has gone into making sure camp gives each camper an experience they won’t forget that draws them closer to God.
In order for us to insure that we can provide the best possible environment for each camper, we ask that you take some time to look through and fill out the necessary forms. Please return forms with payment to your Youth Pastor/leader.

4. $20 deposit with forms will save your spot but is non-refundable if full payment is not received before deadline

I will fully cooperate with the staff, rules and program established for the camp so as not to discredit my parents, my church, or myself. I will be sent home to my parents on my parent’s expense if I do not fully cooperate with the staff, rules, and program of the camp.

2. Parental Medical and Activity Release:
My child will cooperate with the staff, rules and program of the camp. I understand that I am responsible for my child’s actions and will be held financially responsible for any damage done by my child. I will pay for any and all repairs incurred by such damage. I acknowledge that many of the camp/sport activities contain inherent risk of injury. Any controversy or claim arising out of or related to the student’s participation in this camp shall be settled by binding arbitration pursuant to the applicable rules of the American Arbitration Association. It is understood that the camp officials will make a conscientious effort to locate contacts listed on the form before any action is taken. I understand that my own insurance is primary, our church activities insurance is secondary and the camp policy is third. I hereby consent to my child participating in all camp activities. I consent to any treatment deemed advisable in an emergency by an EMT, nurse, medical doctor or other firstaid personnel. I also give consent for my child to go on authorized trips away from camp premises. I also certify that my child’s immunizations are uptodate.
