JOB TITLE: Marketing Intern
DEPARTMENT: Marketing
EXPENSES: £5 lunch per day and £20 per week towards travel
DURATION: 12 months
LOCATION: London
HOURS OF WORK: 4 days per week (28hrs)
REPORTING TO: Marketing Manager

PURPOSE OF ROLE
To work in partnership with the Diocese of London on Capital Vision 2020. This is a powerful vision for an exciting place, see www.london.anglican.org. The role will provide media support for their exciting vision of equipping and commissioning 100,000 ambassadors representing Jesus Christ in London.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Media partner
· To be the regular interface between Premier and the Diocese of London on the day to day development of the 100,000 ambassadors media support. The role holder will develop good working relationships with the Communications and Capital Vision Managers in the Diocese of London.
Web
· Deliver an excellent approach to sign up and communication for ambassadors which reflects the branding and approach of Capital Vision 2020.
· Create and maintain records of all those signed up to measure progress towards 100,000. Identify and flag key milestones coming up.
· Develop a gateway to equipping resources for ambassadors interfacing with existing links of Premier and the Diocese of London.
Communications
· Working with the Diocese of London Capital Vision and Communications managers customise and develop a range of communications to equip ambassadors – from prayer journeys to e-sends and printed material, sourcing material from a number of partners, and organisations.
· Generate and share stories of ambassadors across London, working with parishes and people within the Diocese to share their stories.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
· Degree level education or equivalent
· Experience in marketing and communications
· Experience of working on multiple projects
· Experience of working on events
· Experience of writing and editing for online and offline media
ABILITIES AND SKILLS
· Strong research and analytical skills
· Proactivity, confidence and the ability to work effectively on own initiative and the ability to manage competing priorities
· Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· IT literacy in Microsoft Office or equivalent (and we need to insert specific web skills here)
· Social media savvy
· Able to work under pressure
· Ability to plan, prioritise and organise own time effectively
· Ability to work creatively and professionally within a small team.
· Ability to research and analyse information
· Excellent attention to detail.
· Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage a varied workload.
