The course is designed to provide knowledge about parent involvement and parent empowerment in different approaches of early childhood education ( ECE). In this process students are expected to have knowledge about:

  • rationale of parent involvement in center based ECE
  • how to set the stage for parent involvement in center based ECE
  • what are the different approaches for parent involvement in center based ECE
  • rationale of parent empowerment
  • what are the different examples of parent empowerment programs
  • what are the impact of parent involvement and parent empowerment
  • how to plan parent involvement activities for center based ECE
