The course is designed to provide knowledge about parent involvement and parent empowerment in different approaches of early childhood education ( ECE). In this process students are expected to have knowledge about:
- rationale of parent involvement in center based ECE
- how to set the stage for parent involvement in center based ECE
- what are the different approaches for parent involvement in center based ECE
- rationale of parent empowerment
- what are the different examples of parent empowerment programs
- what are the impact of parent involvement and parent empowerment
- how to plan parent involvement activities for center based ECE
