Overview

You can download MyPhone from . Install this onto your computer by logging in using your pin and extension, right clicking on the 3cx logo in the top right, and choosing “install this on my computer”

Extensions Tab(to top)

Pickup – Diverts the call to your extension.

Hang up – Disconnects call.

Transfer – Transfers the call to another extension. You will be prompted for an extension number.

Park – Parks the call so that another user can pick up the parked call.

Divert to My Voice Mail – Transfers the call to your voice mail.

Record Call – Records the conversation and stores it a wav file on the server.

Barge in – Joins you to the call so that you can speak and listen in.

3CX MyPhone will show all active calls, color coded.

  • Internal calls – Shown in purple.
  • External calls – Shown in dark blue.
  • Queue calls – Shown in light blue.
  • Parked calls – Shown in dark red.

Call - Calls the party that you selected

Chat – Opens a small chat window inside MyPhone.

Call Mobile – If the user has a mobile phone added in their profile, will call it

Leave voice mail – Leaves voice mail

Intercom – Unknown

Create Conference – Creates a conference call.

You can also call an extension by double clicking on the extension.

The following extension states are possible:

  • Green – User is available for calls.
  • Grey – Not registered – User does not have a phone registered to take calls.
  • Red – Away – User’s status is set to Away. Calls will be diverted based on his/her preferences.
  • Dark Orange – User’s status is set to Out Of Office. Calls will be diverted based on his/her preferences.
  • Yellow – User’s phone is ringing or dialing.
  • Purple – User is on an internal call.
  • Blue – User is on an external call.
  • Light Blue – This is a queue call.

Note the two different phone books. Ones that have the building logo are company added and are seen company wide. Those added with the little person are just for your book, and cannot be seen company wide.

NOTE: Please, when adding a user, DO NOT choose “create company phonebook”

There are many details in here, too many to mention. Look through these and set them up to your preference.

Conference Tab(totop)

Allows you to create a new conference call.

Setting your status

There are a few different ways to set your status. The easiest and fastest way is to click on the down arrow beside your name in MyPhone and choose a different status.

You can also do it by the phone. To do this,

1)Dial your voicemail and enter your pin

2)Press 9 to access options

3)Press 1 to change your status.
