Summer 2009 Newsletter
Happy Fourth of July holiday!
I hope this summer’s newsletter finds everybody doing well and out enjoying your horses. I’m sending this issue because 1) I’m excited to present you with some additional treatment options for your horses (please visit the “links & resources” tab on my updated website for more information on these therapies); 2) I want to alert you to a way to get your horse adjusted at no cost to you; 3) I want to show you a way to get a group adjusting session at your boarding stable or training barn that can reduce everybody’s fee; 4) I want to give you more options for scheduling an appointment; and 5) I want to let you know about a special and important upcoming charity ride.
Game Ready Equine Dry Cold/Compression System
Thanks to the generosity of my friend and trainer, Jill Beltran, I’m able to offer your horse the state-of-the-art dry ice and compression physiotherapy modality that combines both active compression and dry cold therapy to accelerate the reduction of swelling, minimize pain and promote better healing. Game Ready Equine is the perfect choice to use for “stocking up,” tendon and ligament injuries, and pain. I can offer this therapy for only $15 for a 15-minute treatment.
Bio-Pulse 3000 Pulsed Magnetic Field Therapy System
Again, thanks to Jill Beltran, I’m able to offer your horse a physiotherapy modality that provides a strong, pulsing magnetic field that penetrates completely through joints and muscles for a complete therapy in just 30 minutes! I use this therapy to treat sore backs; sore muscles; and stiff, arthritic joints in the neck, body or hocks. This therapy also offers a deep relaxation benefit after an adjustment. This therapy is also widely used by the U.S.E.T., for well over a decade. I can offer this therapy for only $20 for a 30-minute treatment.
Get Your Horse Adjusted at No Cost
If you have horse clients and/or friends with horses who have wanting to schedule chiropractic treatment, you can organize an adjusting clinic and get your horse, or a horse of your choice, adjusted at no cost. If you can get 5 or more horses together for treatment, the 6th horse of your choice will be treated at no cost. This is my way of thanking you for saving me travel time.
Group Adjusting Fees
Another way to save everybody some money in this economy is to schedule a group adjusting clinic. Any boarding facility or training barn that schedules 5 or more horses will have the $20 exam fee dropped for all new horses. Each examination and treatment takes anywhere from 1 hour to 1-1/2 hours depending upon what the horse’s exam reveals. Each horse gets a thorough check-up each visit, a head-to-toe adjustment each time, and a stretching and acupressure treatment. Each horse owner will be shown how to perform this unique stretching and acupressure system on their own horse so that they can optimize their horse’s comfort and performance.
More Ways to Schedule Your Appointment
In addition to phoning me at (760) 468-2333, you may also text me at that number. You can e-mail me for your appointment at: . You may schedule an appointment by using webmail through my website at Finally, much to my surprise (and delight), many people are finding me via Facebook and scheduling their appointments this way. In any case, feel free to look me up on Facebook and add me as a friend.
Trainer References
For those of you who don’t know me or who hesitate to contact me for their equine chiropractic needs out of concern for their horse’s well-being, I have attached a partial trainer reference list for your convenience. This way you can feel free to verify my qualifications and reputation. In addition, I have cultivated very good professional relationships with local veterinarians, acupuncturists, farriers/natural hoof trimmers, and other associated equine practitioners.
