Unfinished Business

New Business

-  Resolution 01-09-F

-  Bill 05-09-F

-  Bill 06-09-F

-  Bill 07-09-F

There was a motion made by Austin Wingate to suspend the bi-laws to move 07-09-F into unfinished business.

There was a point of information by Dave Vickery- Why move it?

There was a point of information by Austin Wingate- Scored very high in the nation, 44 schools participate in the nation participate. They leave next week for the competition, 2 days event- with 8 events. I feel that to wait until next could spell disaster for them. Could hurt ROTC reputation.

There was a point of information by Skylar Jordan- We have never seen this, and if they knew about it why are they waiting until now to ask us for help?

There was a point of information by Austin Wingate- They didn’t know about it. They do not like asking a lot. Sargeant came to me for help.

There was a point of inquiry by Dave Vickery- will we be able to get the money to them?

There was a point of information by Justin Thurman- I do not know there are certain channels I need to go through, we would be in clear violation of our bi-laws for funding t-shirts because SGA has to be promoted on the shirt.

There was a point of information byAustin Wingate- They know that, and the design is made with the SGA logo included. Totals to $525.00 off the checklist the sergeant gave him.

There was a Point of order Skylar Baker Jordan- we are debating

The motion failed with one (1) abstention.
