TheFacultyofArts and HumanitiesisoneoffivefacultiesatLinnaeus University. Weoffer a flexible and internationalenvironmentforlearning. Togetherweform a creative and inclusiveenvironmentwherethe relations betweenstaff and students are informal and open. In theFacultyofArts and Humanitieswe are currentlyworking on highlighting study abroadpossibilitiesforourstudents. Thismeansthatwe are bothworking on theadministrative as well as qualitative input and outcomesinvolved in student exchanges.

We are looking to recruitan Erasmus+ traineewhoiscurrentlystudying on master level (2nd cycle) or a recentgraduatefor a period ofaround 5 monthsduringthespringsemester 2018(January 15 toJune 21).

Who are welookingfor?

We are lookingforsomeonewhoseEnglishproficiencylevelishigh and whotakesaninterest in educationaladministrationwith a focus on internationalwork. Thepotentialinternshouldbeable to workindependentlywithprojects. ThepotentialinternwillbeworkingunderthesupervisionoftheHeadofFacultyAdministration and theFaculty’s International Group. The role willinvolvetraining in a genuine university environment, wherethecandidateisexpected to take on someimportantgeneraladministrativetasks but thefocusforthispositionwillbe to helpmanage and create a stuctureforresearchstudents and theirinternationalpossibilitiesatthefaculty as well as spreadinginformationaboutthe benefit ofinternationalexperience to bachelor and master students.

Theinternshipis full time, 40 hours per week and will start in thespringsemester 2018(15thofJanuary). Timeforwriting areportand relayinformationaboutactivitiesback to thehome university isincluded in thetimeallocatedforthetraineeship.

Requirements
Thisopportunityis open for master studentsorrecentgraduatesfrom a master programmeregistered in a highereducationinstitution holding an Erasmus+ Charter forHigherEducation. BenefitsTheinternshipisanunpaidposition, but thecandidatewillreceivepaidaccommodation, arranged by Linnaeus University and theFacultyofArts and Humanities, duringthewholeinternship period.

  • Thetraineeshipmustbeprofessionallyrelevant to your on-goingor past studies
  • Anendorsementfromthehome university statingthatyou are eligiblefor a traineeship grant
    -To beable to start thetraineeshipyouneed to haveanapproved Erasmus+ Traineeship Grant fromyourownhighereducationinstitution.

The last day to applyisOctober 1 and wewillsend a notification to allelegibleapplications on October 16.
