The fees below are for people who currently hold the Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC30113).

If you hold an older version of the Certificate III (Certificate III in Children's Services) you will be required to undertake some additional training and assessment. Contact the course coordinator to enquire about costs for this gap training.

The tuition fees as published are subject to change given individual circumstances at enrolment. Eligibility for a government-subsidised place will be confirmed at the time of enrolment based on evidence provided.

A 30% deposit plus the textbook fee is required at time of enrolment (maximum $1,000).

Classroom hours: 520 hours

Practical placement: 240 hours

Learners should also allow for approximately 10-12 hours per week of at-home study to complete this course.

In this course, there are two work placements that must be successfully completed. We will assist you to organise your placement.

Entry to the course is based on an assessment of your ability to complete the Diploma, and ability to understand and apply the content of the course. An interview, and literacy / numeracy exercise is part of the selection process. Refer to the Course Information Book for more information about entry requirements.
