New Site – Bachmann Monitoring GmbH Moves to New Company Headquarters

Larger, more modern and more centrally located, with a new remote diagnostics and training center

For over 15 years Bachmann Monitoring GmbH has been supplying and taking care of condition monitoring systems for onshore and offshore wind power plants from its technology base in Rudolstadt/Jena, Germany. The team was recently able to move to new offices in the industrial park in Fritz-Bolland-Straße.

More space was required for the workforce, which has now grown in recent years to 49 employees, and this was also needed for a new remote diagnostics and training center. “We are very proud of it,” says managing director Dr. Steffen Biehl, ”since the possibilities of our new remote diagnostics and training center will allow us to adapt even better to the needs and applications of our customers.”

Bachmann Monitoring GmbH will stay in Rudolstadt, the technology base near Jena. “The Fritz-Bolland-Straße industrial park in Rudolstadt is a creative location in the “green heart” of Germany, and provides the perfect working environment for our employees,” explains Holger Fritsch, also managing director of Bachmann Monitoring GmbH. “The move also represents another important step in the expansion of the CMS center of competence for the worldwide machine diagnostics of decentralized plants.”

The new corporate building offers a generous design, providing space for the further continued growth of Bachmann Monitoring GmbH.

Bachmann Monitoring GmbH develops and sells online measuring systems and system solutions for the permanent worldwide condition based maintenance of decentralized plants such as wind turbines and ships. In an extensive service concept, the vendor and type (stand-alone CMS) independent condition monitoring systems considerably increase the investment security of wind turbines. Bachmann Monitoring GmbH currently monitors over 3,500 wind turbines world wide. The portfolio serves 23 different wind turbine manufacturers with 54 turbine types and outputs of 600 kW to 6 MW. The specialist monitoring company located at the Jena/Rudolstadt technology base for 15 years has been a subsidiary of Bachmann electronic GmbH in Feldkirch, Austria, since 2010. The remote centers in Asia and America currently under development are also provided with technical support from the Rudolstadt site.
