About The Quilt…
The creation of the “Stitch In Time” Millennium Quilt was a collaborative “true labor of love” whose original proceeds went to further vizsla health research and rescue efforts. This striking 9’ X 7’ quilt is made of 35 handmade squares, all created by talented members of Vizsla Clubs all over the U.S. Hand-sewn together by an Amish quilter, the quilt showcases the many roles of The Versatile Vizsla in as many mediums as a vizsla is clever. It is beautiful tribute to a breed of so many abilities.
The Frank Sherman Memorial Fund…
The world of Vizsla Rescue lost one of its greatest advocates last November when we lost Frank Sherman. Frank was the beloved husband of Penny Fenton and one-half of Idaho’s Vizsla Rescue team. Anyone who ever crossed paths with Frank immediately came to know and love him. Frank took the rescue dogs camping, fishing and for long runs in the fields — he gave them love,
joy and purpose.
The funds will be available to those special foster homes that share Frank’s goals and who will provide a place for special needs dogs to stay until they meet Frank at Rainbow Bridge. Please help us honor him by continuing his rescue work for the dogs he loved. This Memorial Fund is to carry on Frank’s vision.
