An ongoing assessment by the graduate faculty in the Department of Health Services and Information Management acting on accreditation requirements from the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management (CAHIIM) determined that a course in health data structure is needed in the proposed master of science in Health Informatics and Information Management curriculum. This course is required for students who plan to be eligible for the Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) certification exam.6. 9. Compose a LOINC message that can be used to transmit laboratory

11. Assess how the meaningful use standard affects the structure of health data.
