AISMTA, is an academic association which has led a revolution in maths education by conducting exam once a year to build student math skills. Olympiad Exams have become a recent craze among School Children. Olympiad Exams provide the students with an opportunity to test themselves at the national level. Moreover it also suggests where does the students stands. Identifying this craze for Olympiad exams.
Students will have the opportunity to practice problem-solving skills in order to prepare for the future competitions and upgrading their skills and confidence. Because we believe in theory of (Practice–Practice till you succeed).Attendance isn't mandatory but is certainly encouraged.
At the outset of this occasion, we would like to convey our thanks and best wishes to the Principal & teachers who are associated with us in any manner to provide guidance in the matter because this task cannot be completed without their co-operation. They play integral part in shaping & polishing the skills of the candidates.
Last year globally maximum no. of students took part in the Math’s Olympiad and it was a huge success. And all over 265 schools participated out of the 9 schools won best school award with best organizing teachers. Once again congratulations to all the principal’s who won award for principal of principal’s award 2016-17.

The AISMTA is a well-known Institution with deep commitment to quality and excellence in the field of education. It is also known for its devotion in creating interest of students towards Mathematics. Besides making the subject interesting and enjoyable, it spots out the talent amongst the young and feed them to improve their knowledge so as to find a place for them in the competitive world.
The AISMTA has been conducting NATIONAL MATHEMATICS OLYMPIAD CONTEST right from standard Ist to Sr. Secondary level. The students have widely appreciated this project.
The paper will be designed as per the Board's syllabus. The AISMTA is of the opinion that the students appearing at these examinations will certainly get benefit at their final examinations of the board.
PROCEDURE FOR CONDUCTING NATIONAL MATHEMATICS OLYMPIAD CONTEST-2017-18
The Contest will be conducted at eleven levels as mentioned below:

8. PRE-JUNIOR OLYMPIAD VIII
9. JUNIOR OLYMPIAD IX
10. INTERMEDIATE OLYMPIAD X
11. SENIOR OLYMPIAD XI-XII
QUESTION PAPER: Each class has separate paper as per the Syllabus.
DATE & DUR. OF EXAM: 20th JAN. 2018. The duration of examination will be 3 hrs.
(All Institutions are free tofix examination dates as per there suitability)
MAX.MARKS: Maximum marks for the exam. will be 100 and pass percentage will be 40%.
medium: The paper will be set in English.
PATTERN OF THE PAPER: - For class Ist, IInd and IIIrd the paper will be objective type and for rest of the
classes it will be subjective type.
CENTRE: The centre will be your school for your students only.
ANSWER BOOKS: The blank answer books and continuing sheets will be supplied by the AISMTA.
DECLARATION OF RESULT: The result of the examinations will be despatch centre-wise within a month time from the date of receipt of the answer books from the centre. And on internet the result will be declared Roll number wise.
AWARDS OF CERTIFICATES, MEDALS & SHIELD(i) All the successful candidates at the contest will be awarded certificates. Candidates obtaining 100% marks will be awarded a Shield. Students securing 90% to 99% marks at the examination will be awarded a Gold Medal.
(ii) The schools sending 500 candidates and more for the examination will be honored .
Nomination in Principal of Principal’s award 2017-18 for School’s Principal & Best organizing teacher certificate
for organizing teacher.

ADMISSION FEE: The admission fee for each level is IRS.400/-

CENTRE EXPENSES: Out of total amount of fee Rs.400/- Rs.30/-per candidate (Rs.10/- for organizing teacher & Rs.20/- for center expenses) can be kept by the school to meet the expenses involved in conducting examination.

7. Fees: A participation fee of IRs.400/- per student is to be collected by the school. The school shall retain IRs.30/- per student towards the honorarium of the invigilator/s and other incidental expenditure like photocopying, postal expenses, DD’s commissions etc.
