The PSP Association

Trainee Fundraising Officer

JOB DESCRIPTION

The PSP Association is the only charity in the UK dedicated to supporting people who have Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) or Cortico Basal Degeneration (CBD), both of which are degenerative neurological conditions, which over time remove a person’s ability to walk, talk, eat, drink and see. In consultation with healthcare professionals, the PSPA has developed a pathway of care for PSP, to establish the standards of care that people can expect to receive and the recommended best practice for achieving them. In response to the findings, the PSPA has embarked on a new strategy, to focus and strengthen its support to members by ensuring all those affected access available care and support that meets their needs.
