Terms of Sale

§  The deposit is non-refundable and shall be applied toward the purchase price once the Buyer comes to pick up the Kitten and finalize the purchase. The entire monetary purchase amount must be completely payed off before/on the kitten pickup date.

§  Mplsbengals reserves the right to refuse any sale (without explanation) for any reason throughout the process up until the kitten is picked up. We pride ourselves in knowing that our kittens will be going to the best possible homes and will continue to do everything in our power to ensure good placement.

§  Once a buyer places a deposit on a feline of choice the felines price will be set. Price will not go up or be up for negotiation once a deposit is accepted. If you are unable to pay the price agreed upon you must let the seller know right away so that the seller has ample time to find a different buyer for the feline.

§  Mpls Bengals will issue, by regular U.S. postal mail, or at the kitten’s pickup, the Kitten TICA "Blue Slip" for the official transfer of ownership from the Seller to the Buyer. The Buyer is responsible for completing the Blue Slip paperwork online at www.tica.org or mailing it, along with the appropriate fee, to TICA to complete the ownership change.

§  Buyer guarantees that the feline will be bred in a manner consistent with the TICA code of ethics and the TIBCA code of ethics and not overbred.

§  Buyer agrees to assume responsibility for the feline’s health care and will provide all of the care needed at a licensed veterinarian. The buyer agrees that the feline will be consistently taken to yearly health checks. (If you cant afford a veterinarian don’t get a pet)
Buyer also agrees not to breed a feline that is showing signs of/ or has any health issues. Feline must be in excellent health in order to breed.

§  Rabies Vaccination must be administered to feline by 18 months of age.

§  This feline is guaranteed to be in good health at the time of purchase. The buyer has three business days to have a veterinarian examine the feline and report any questionable findings. Questionable finding must be submitted (with a signature and date) to the seller.

§  The said feline is guaranteed against congenital defects for 6 months. Should the feline die within that time as a result of a congenital defect, the feline will be replaced by another one of equal value only if buyer provides a veterinarian’s certificate as proof of death.

§  The feline may not be returned for a replacement/refund after the guaranteed period of 6 months has expired, the feline has been exposed to another feline or allowed outside. However if the buyer no longer wants the feline or is unable to care for him/her, the said feline MUST be returned to Mplsbengals in order to be re-homed and not attempted to be sold or put in any shelters.

§  There will be no monetary refunds of any costs. Purchaser assumes all responsibility for costs.

§  Buyer agrees to keep the feline strictly indoors unless they are on a leash/harness and being supervised or inside an outdoor cat enclosure.

§  Buyer agrees not to keep the feline confined in a space/enclosure smaller than 10 ft.x11ft. for longer than a few days.

§  Buyer agrees that the said feline will not be declawed or have ears or tail clipped in any way. Any kind of bodily mutilations including, but not limited to, piercings, scarring, tattoos (excluding spay/neuter line), removal of toes, tip of tongue or whiskers are strictly prohibited.

§  Buyer agrees to feed the feline a diet that is grain free and includes supplemental wet foods and/or cooked or raw meats. Buyer agrees to provide fresh water daily and will find a caretaker for the feline if they will be gone from home for any extended period of time.

§  Buyer is also responsible for updating Mpls Bengals with their current address, phone, and email address during the lifetime of their bengal.

§  If the said feline is found to be sterile, after attempting to breed with a proven Stud/Queen, Mps Bengals will replace the feline with one of equal value. (this only applies if the said feline has not yet produced a litter, offer is void if the Queen has already had one or more litters).

§  If the buyer no longer wants the feline (throughout the entire feline’s lifetime) buyer agrees not to surrender said feline to any type of Shelter or Rescue group. Said feline must be brought back to Mpls Bengals and not attempted to be resold by the buyer.

By signing the buyer is in full agreement with all of the conditions listed above. Any legal fees occurred in upholding this contract will be the responsibility of the buyer.
