The Harefield Academy moved in to its new £34 million facility in September 2008. The Governors now wish to appoint an inspirational,innovative, practitioner to lead the Technology faculty.
This strategic post offers an opportunity to broaden leadership experience as we seek to extend and develop outstanding inclusive practice across The Academy.
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about learning and teaching and committed to high levels of achievement for all students. He/She will be able to provide strategic leadership and vision to support all students and staff within the Technology faculty. He/She will have commitment to CPD for him/herself and for colleagues.
We wish to appoint a colleague who:
is suitably experienced with energy and commitment
possesses excellent leadership skills
is able to track the progress of students
Is an outstanding teacher with a successful record of achieving high standards for students whilst also developing teachers to improve their pedagogy
an individual who is able to provide leadership and guidance in order to raise the achievement of all students through strong leadership and management
