A message from the President of Rotary Club Malta
Our Club has made generous donations to Dar il-Kaptan each year since 1990 when we were instrumental in the home’s foundation. This year we decided to embark on a 2 year project at a cost of over €100,000 to build an extension which will mark a leap in quality both in terms of additional facilities provided and also in terms of comfort.
Dar il-Kaptan is a respite Home in Mtarfa which provides professional care to 230persons with special needs many of whom take up short term residency. The different surroundings and professionalism of the staff gives clients a break from routine and a chance to have new experiences whilst it allows their families that look after them day in day out much needed respite. This project is well underway and will be completed very soon.

GALA FUND RAISING DINNER DANCE
Join us on Friday 10th April 2015, for our annual charity gala fund-raising dinner dance, a wonderful evening which this year will take place at the Intercontinental Arena Conference Centre in St. Julian’s.
The evening starts with aperitifs and the sounds of bagpipes. This will be followed by a delicious four course meal, during which we will be auctioning paintings donated by some of Malta’s most renowned artists and holding a raffle with top end prizes. We will enjoy the fabulous sounds of a live band which will have you dancing.
This is one of Malta’s great events of the year in which companies can host their topmost clients, suppliers or senior personnel confidently, in the best of social tradition. By booking a table you and your guests will be joining Rotarians and other executives and their partners in an upbeat and friendly atmosphere for a night you will long remember. So, by making a booking today you will be making a wonderful contribution to Rotary and more directly, towards the funding of a very worthwhile cause, that is Dar Il-Kaptan.

The cost of the evening per person is €65.00 and the arrangements for the evening are shown on the next page.

Aperitifs from 7.00 p.m.
Dinner at 7.45 p.m. – A sumptuous 4 course meal followed by coffee.
Wine and water will be served throughout.
Raffle and Auction of various works by leading artists towards the end of the meal followed by dancing to the music of a live band until 1.00am
