Meeting Professionals International (MPI) is celebrating 40 years as a strong and diverse community of meeting and business event professionals and is the world’s largest association for the $263 billion meetings and events industry. With more than 21,000 members representing 86 countries belonging to 71 chapters and clubs worldwide, MPI’s Mission is to make its members successful by building human connections through knowledge/ideas, relationships and marketplaces. As the industry has grown and gained prominence, MPI has been at the forefront of providing content, research and business connections enhancing the performance of its members. MPI celebrates its community of planners, suppliers, students, faculty and various professionals whose leadership, camaraderie and connections are the backbone of the organization.
With approximately 900 members, the Chicago Area Chapter of MPI, established in 1976, is one of the largest chapters of MPI. In addition to its distinction in terms of membership size, dedication and involvement, the chapter is also one of the founding chapters and rich with industry history. Knowledge Share: Afternoon roundtable discussion for area meeting and event professionals (suppliers and planners).
MPI-CAC would like to hold this event in late August or early September 2016 on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.
