Please provide any information that is relevant for room allocations. eg. Snoring, sleeplessness etc. (NB. there are only one or two single rooms available, please only apply if you are willing to share a room)

Please provide details of your background in meditation practice including dates, centres, teachers and traditions. We would ask that participants have a minimum number of 50 days retreat experience.

Do you have a dharma teacher who is willing to be your mentor? If so, please provide us with their name. If not you will be paired with a mentor provided by the teaching faculty, who will either be teaching on the programme or is affiliated with Gaia House or Sharpham.

The programme is limited to 34 applicants.The fee for entire course at Sharpham and Gaia House will be £2040. The deposit is a non-returnable payment of £500.

Please DO NOT send payment with your application form. You will be asked for payment if your application is successful.

There are also a limited number of means assessed bursaries available. If you wish to apply for a bursary, please provide a 100-200 word statementwith your application, outlining your circumstances and reasons for requesting it, and submit it to us by the end of October 2012. We will let you know the outcome by the end of November.

The teachers and mentors on the study programme receive no compensation fromSharphamTrust or Gaia House. Your course fees only cover accommodation, food and administration. There will be the opportunity at the end of each module to offer Dana to that module’s teacher(s).

Terms and Conditions:

As a small, charitable programme, we cannot accommodate losses due to cancellations made by participants.Therefore, upon the payment of any deposit to secure a booking, the participant will be liable for the payment of their course fees in full, before the start of the programme and regardless of whether they complete the programme or not.

Should the participant cancel the course for any reason, including ill health, course fees cannot be returned. Therefore we advise all participants, particularly those prone to unpredictable episodes of ill health, to purchase insurance which will reimburse them in such an event.
