OPAL Innovation 2015
State-wide projects
Project title and description / Project budget / Contact officer /Creative Community Computing
The CCC program teaches participants how a computer works on a component level, how to repair that hardware and install free and open-source software. Participants considered competent with their computer take the machine home. This project will roll out the pilot program into 2 regional libraries, up-skilling library staff to run the program locally in a 'train-the-trainer' model. As part of building sustainability, the project will develop resource material to support library staff - lesson plans, instructional videos, course materials - and support independent delivery of the program. / $80,000 / Daniel Flood
