Filmmaker and Post Production Supervisor (12 Month FTC)

The Filmmaker and Post Production Supervisor will report directly to the Assistant Producer, Broadcast, and work closely with all areas of the Broadcast Department, including the NT Live production team.

They will also work closely with the National Theatre’s Sound & Video department, to establish collaborative ways of working, and maintain good communication between the Broadcast and Sound & Video departments. The successful candidate will develop relationships with the IT department who provide core support to the smooth running of the Edit Suite. In addition they will work widely across the organisation including with Digital Development, Publications, Learning, Marketing and Development. We are looking for someone to capture the creative life of the NT and make films from new and existing footage.

This is a great opportunity to work alongside an experienced photographer and filmmaker, providing hands on experience in both planning and executing shoots, whilst learning and developing skills in the post-production process, such as retouching, editing and colour grading.

As a Photography & Filmmaker Apprentice you will have the following duties -

•Assisting on Photography shoots, setting up camera & lighting

•Assisting on Video shoots, setting up camera, sound recording & lighting

•Processing & retouching photographic images

•Ingesting video footage, editing & colour grading

•Planning, researching & brainstorming future shoots

Production Assistant Internship with a US studio Feature Film
