Entrance Requirements for Public Schools:
Students new to the local public school system should register at the school they plan to attend. At time of registration please bring the following documents with you:
§ Proof of birth- preferably the child’s birth certificate
§ Record of immunization- measles, mumps, rubella, polio, diphtheria, tetanus, etc.
§ Legal proof of residence- most military families use the ‘Assignment to Housing Letter’
§ Record of prior school attendance- student transcript or last report card from previous school
§ Individual counties may require additional information
