Our Travel Agency SPOCs will meet you at your respective Hub Airport. The SPOCs will be easily recognizable in FORUM uniforms. Details of the SPOC shall be shared later.
Please Reach the Airport 3 Hrs prior to your flight Departure timing
Kindly carry the following documents with you before leaving for the airport
1)Passport – With a validity of at least 6 months from the date of travel
2)Flight Ticket print out - You may be asked to show your flight ticket on entering Thailand
3)VISA Form printout – we shall share the VISA form along with the Flight Tickets
4)2-3 Passport Size Photographs
5)It will also be necessary to prove that you have funds of at least 10,000 THB (equivalent to INR 20,000 )per person – This is a requirement by the immigration department in thailand
Arrival
Upon your arrival at Bangkok Airport (Suvarnabhumi International Airport), follow the guidance of our Samsung Hospitality Staff who would be waiting to board the bus and head to the hotel.

Transfer to Hotel and Check-In
It takes approximately 60 minutes to the hotel and our Samsung Hospitality Staff will welcome you upon your arrival at the hotel. Please follow the staff’s guidance and proceed with the hotel check-in procedures
Check-out
Check-out time is 12 noon.
Upon check-out, You have the option of either swiping your Credit Card (VISA or MASTERCARD) or making cash settlements to clear off your incidental expenses (Eg: Usage of spa, Laundry, In-Room Dining etc.) should you avail any of the services provided by the hotel during your stay with us.
Please board the transportation vehicle at the hotel at least 4 hours before your flight departs. If you wish to shop before departing, please arrange for your own travel till the airport or reach back at the hotel well in time to board the coaches which will leave at a pre-designated time. Please check with the Hospitality Staff for the coach schedule as per your flight timings.

Things to prepare before traveling
Climate in Bangkok
The southwest monsoon arrives between May and July and lasts into November. This is followed by a dry period from around November to May, which begins with lower relative temperatures until mid-February (because of the influence of the northeast monsoon, which bypasses this part of Thailand but results in cool breezes), followed by much higher relative temperatures from March to May. It usually rains most during August and September, though floods in early October may find you in hip-deep water in certain parts of the city.
Clothes
Considering the local weather in Bangkok, summer clothes and simple clothes are recommended. However, unlike the hot temperature outside, hotels and restaurants are air-conditioned so due to the temperature difference, cardigans and jackets are recommended. In addition, please ensure that you are equipped with sunglasses, sun-cream, hats and other items to block the sunlight as well as raincoats or umbrellas in the case of wet weather.
Dress Code
There is no particular dress code for the conference, leisure time and free time. It’s fine to wear comfortable clothes but please refrain from wearing tracksuits.
For all your business sessions, please wear Business Casuals. For leisure and free time, it is fine to wear comfortable clothes. In case of Welcome and Gala dinners, please dress semi formally.
Voltage
Electrical outlets in Thailand are charged to 220v at 50 cycles per second, which is compatible with appliances from the U.K. but not those from the US and many other nations. While most computer cables have adaptors for voltage, visitors from the U.S. and those not on the 220/50 v. will have to bring adapters to run most other appliances. Outlets in Thailand generally feature flat, two pronged plugs, though some feature holes for round plug ends. Few outlets feature three holes (grounded outlets) so it is often necessary to have a three to two prong adapter for using notebook computers in Thailand.
Language
More than 92% of the population speaks Thai or one of its regional dialects. While the Thai language is the official language of Thailand, as a result of its cosmopolitan capital city and established tourism infrastructure, English is spoken and understood throughout much of Thailand, including Bangkok.
Exchange Rate (Money Exchange)
The currency of Thailand is the Thai Baht. Baht come in both coin and banknote form. 1 Thai Bhat converts to 1.89 INR (Rough Exchange rate)
Credit Card Paymentsand ATM
Visa, Master Card, JCB and American Express is mainly used in Bangkok and credit cards can be used in restaurants, hotels and shopping malls. In the case of ATM, they are placed in banks, hotels and big shopping malls.
