Dear Mr. MacPhee: (press enter 2 times)

I would like to invite you to be our guest speaker at our monthly meeting for our business club on December 14. I know this is a busy time of year, but you were referred to us as one of the leaders in the insurance field and an excellent presenter. We expect to have about 30 club member as well as a few parents and community members in attendance.

Many students in our club have had courses in accounting, keyboarding, word processing, business law, and computer technology. Since many of the students are interested in eventually working in the insurance industry, they have asked for a speaker from that field. We would like you to speak on “Careers in the Insurance Industry.” Please share some of the different areas they could find employment as well as some statistics on average income and hours worked for some of these positions.

We hope you can be with us in the high school cafeteria on December 14 at 4:30 p.m. We look forward to your acceptance of this invitation.

Sincerely,

[NAME]
