Charlotte Jackson / PLC SMART GOAL:
SWBAT to categorize key vocabulary and identify salient features. The student will use multiple strategies to develop grade level vocabulary. On the vocabulary pretest on USA Test Prep, the 11th and 12th graders will score 70% or higher on the pretest and 80% on the post test. Students will be able to apply effective vocabulary strategies on the SAT Test to meet reading requirement for graduation.

Pretest was to be administered the week of 9/11-9/15, but has been postponed due to Hurricane Irma. Pre Test will be administered after teachers have effectively taught the standard with fidelity, post test data is expected at November/December 2017 PLC. / To help students meet their reading requirement for graduation. Teachers will teach a variety of vocabulary strategies and reading comprehension skills to help students demonstrate proficiency on the FSA/ACT/SAT. / All members
115 pm / Adjustments/Changes to Curriculum? / PLC Facilitator will meet with team. Teachers will discuss the implementation of different strategies than the one previously used for the preparation of the SAT Test for November 2017 Test. / Alvarado
135 pm / Next Steps: / Teachers after providing the USA Test Prep Pre Test and the SAT Crunch Plan to the students, after students have been remediated and enriched will discuss results and determine continued implementation. / All members
