Facility:25 yard, 6 lane regulation pool built in 2006, located on the campus of Murray State University. The depth of the pool at the start end is 6’8”. The depth at the turn end is 3’8”.The competition course has notbeencertified in accordance with 104.2.2C (4).

Colorado timing system w/6 place scoreboard.
No coolers will be allowed in the facility.
Start times: Friday PM session: Warm-ups @ 5:30 pm /Meet begins at 6:15 pm
Saturday AM Session: Warm-ups 8:00 a.m./Meet Begins 9 a.m.
Saturday PM Session: Warm-ups 12:30 p.m. / Meet begins 1:00 p.m.
Sunday AM Session: Warm-ups 8:00 a.m./Meet begins 9 a.m.
The 1000 free will be seeded and swam fastest to slowest

Directions: From I-24, take the Purchase Parkway to Highway 641. Travel south on 641 to Murray. The wellness center is located behind the MSU football stadium and basketball arena (CFSB Center). Entrance to the facility and parking will be off of 121 N. From Highway 80 travel west to the
intersection of highway 641. Turn left (south) onto 641 and follow
directions above.
Parking: Parking is available in parking lots behind the RSEC and dormitory parking lots adjacent to the Wellness Center.
* Parking may be restricted due to graduation on Saturday and a Lady
Antebellum concert on Sunday

Rules: Current USA Swimming & Kentucky Swimming rules will govern the meet. USA Swimming athlete members must be under the supervision of a USA Swimming member coach during warm-up, competition, and warm-down. Swimmers participating under the provisions of 202.6 or USA Swimming’s “open border” policy must be under the supervision of their coach or a USA Swimming member coach. Coaches who are entering swimmers but will not be at the meet should arrange ahead of time for another coach to supervise their athletes. Swimmers unaccompanied by their coaches or for whom arrangements have not been made must contact the Meet Director or Meet Referee who will assist the athlete in finding coach supervision
Any USA SWIMMING swimmer entered in the meet must be certified by a USA Swimming member-coach as being proficient in performing a racing start or must start each race from within the water. When unaccompanied by a member-coach, it is the responsibility of the swimmer or the swimmer’s legal guardian to ensure compliance with this requirement.
The “National Starting Procedure” will be used, including the “No Recall False Start”.
Swimmer’s age on December 11, 2011 will determine their age for the meet.
Coaches must display their USA Swimming coaches’ credentials.
Use of audio or visual recording devices, including a cell phone, is not permitted in changing areas, rest rooms or locker rooms.
Events: Swimmer may enter five (5) individual events and one (1) relay per day.
All events are timed finals.
Entry Fees: $4.00 per individual event
$8.00 per relay
$7.50 surcharge ($1.50 KY, $6.00 facility charge)
Scoring / Awards: Scoring for awards will be grouped as follows:
6&U, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, Open
Individual events: Ribbons 1st – 6th place
High point: Trophies awarded each age group, male and female
400 IM, 500 Free, and 1000 Free will be swam as open but scored by age group

Amendments: Depending upon meet size, the Meet Director reserves the right to
amend warm-up times if necessary. Depending upon meet size, the Meet Director reserves the right to either limit entries and/or end the meet at the 4-hour mark.
Vendors: Swim Gear /Merchandise will be available for purchase.
There will be a silent auction for all your Christmas needs!

claims against USA Swimming, Inc., Kentucky Swimming, Inc., Murray Youth
Swim Team and their staff, and Murray State University and their staff for
injuries and/or expense incurred by me/us at the meet or while on the road
to or from the meet. I/We are members of USA Swimming as a team, coach,
athlete, or administrator and are eligible to compete in all events I/we have
entered.
