· From July 1997 to June 2001 – Research assistant at the “Ruprecht-Karls-Universitat Heidelberg, Institut fur Pharmazie und Moleculare Biotechnologie (IPMB), Abt. Biologie”.
· From November 2001 to September 2008 – Lecturer of the Molecular genetics and Genetic Engineering at the Genetic department, Assiut University, Assiut, Egypt.
· Supervision on Ph.D. thesis under title “Characterization of plasmid-encoded functions of Streptococcus thermophilus and evaluation of their impact on the fermentation properties of the host-bacteria”, Faculty of Agriculture, Assiut University, 2005.

Areas of Interest:
· Plant breeding, following classical and molecular methods.
· Molecular taxonomy of plants, animals, bacteria and fungi.
· Gene isolation from different organisms, which important for nutrient industries as well as resistant to heavy metals or toxic ions.
