B. John Elliott J Office: (314) 984-7468 Email:

I am always glad to help faculty with any questions about MyMathLab.

If a student needs to return their book to the bookstore for a legitimate reason (drop down, was in a lab class instead, etc.) and already opened their MyMathLab access code, then I can give them a new MyMathLab folder so that they can return their book.

I would prefer that you not send students to me (other than the above reason).

III. Ideas for getting students to not become too dependent on MyMathLab help

Features.

A. With MyMathLab

·  Create and assign quizzes (like the 140)

·  Turn a homework assignment into two parts: take about 5 questions out of the regular assignment (that you think are really important) and put them in a new homework assignment with the help features turned off.

B. In Class (whatever you can think of)
