  • All examinations will be held in the HALL except for Dance(PE1) and Music(Music Room 2)
  • All examinations lasting 2 hours include 5 minutes reading time.
  • All examinations lasting less than 2 hours will have an additional 5 minutes reading time.
  • Students are to arrive 10 minutes before the scheduled commencement time of each examination.
  • School uniform is to be worn.
  • Students will not be permitted to enter an examination after one hour has elapsed.
  • Students are to provide their own stapler or fastening device for their own scripts.
  • Students who are absent from any examination are to follow the assessment procedures for missed assessment tasks.
  • Students are not required to be at school unless they have an examination.
  • Students are not required to attend roll call.

Examinations will be held in accordance with the rules and guidelines as issued by the Board of Studies.

Students are not permitted any food or drinks (other than water) to be taken into the examination room unless a student has been granted special provisions. Water may be taken into the examination room so long as it is in a clear bottle.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

  • When in the examination room, students must remove watches and place them in clear view on the examination table.
  • Mobile phones or other electronic communication/listening devices must not be taken into the examination room.
  • Students may only take approved equipment into the examination room. This should be in a clear plastic bag.
  • Any equipment brought into the examination room will be subject to inspection before the examination commences.
  • It is the responsibility of the students to supply equipment that is in good working order. This includes calculators.
  • Equipment failure is not grounds for an appeal under misadventure provisions.
  • Supervisors will not be responsible for the safekeeping of any unauthorised material.
  • When answering multiple-choice questions on answer sheets, students should use black or blue pen.

DO NOT REMOVE ANY EXAMINATION QUESTION PAPERS, ANSWERS OR WRITING PADS FROM THE EXAMINATION ROOM.

YEAR 11 STUDENTS ARE NOT PERMITTED TO LEAVE AN EXAMINATION EARLY.
