Combat the cons:

Make sure to interact with the guests! Comment along with them and like their posts. When collecting orders get a working phone number! Call to thank them. You can try messaging show guests on FB but if you are not friends with them on FB your message goes to their “other” folder and they may miss it. When you contact guests make sure to mention the free jewelry the hostess received and ask them if they’d like to get some too.

When someone who could do a live show wants to do a FB show instead try asking them what pieces they want to get for free with their benefits. Once you know a few make sure to point out that with a FB show she can probably get one/two of those but could get it all by having a live show. Be specific, “Sally I know you really can’t decide between (insert item names here) if you just got a girl friend or two together you could get them both! Hosting a live show can literally double or triple your free jewelry.” If she still won’t budge, let her do a FB show and then try to convert it into a live booking. Once it’s complete tell her, “Sally you’re going to get $40 in free jewelry and 1 half priced item, now if you get a few girl friends together next week we can automatically turn that into $60 plus a $50 bonus and 4+ half priced items.” (based on a $200 FB show) By simply throwing together a you + 2 she can easily double/triple her free jewelry. Just make sure to book her right away (within a week if possible) so the guests who already ordered are not waiting a really long time for their pieces. It is also a good idea to let the guests who purchased know when their orders will actually be submitted so you don’t get angry emails/calls about orders taking forever.

Hostess coaching is the key to overcoming the last con. When you talk to your hostess be honest- tell her if she leads with the FB party info some of her more introverted friends may shy away from coming to the live event. Explain to her that there is a different special at each event so by participating in both her guest have more opportunities for amazing deals and prizes!Suggest she only mention the live show at first. The FB after party should be the last tantalizing detail she gives her friends by saying something like, “oh and I’m going to send you an invite for the FB after party so you have even more chances of winning free jewelry!”
