Primary Cup
This ¼ Final of the County Cup guaranteed a St Edsmundsbury League team into the semi-finals with St Edmunds 1965 entertaining Bedrics Worth at Greta Barton Village Hall. The score was
1 – 0 in favour of Bedrics Worth at half time. The half time team talk by the Saints Manager
Dave Dobbyn worked a treat with St Edmunds hitting the net eight times in the second half to
win 8 – 2. On target for St Edmunds were Callum Brown (2), Peter Griffiths (2), Curtis Karolak (1) and a second half hat trick from the veteran Simon Gresham. Macaulay Delo netted both the Bedrics goals.
Division 1
Bury Town Rams (6th) welcomed Eriwell Village FC (8th)to Northumberland Avenue. The Rams winning this one 5 – 0 thanks to goals from Chris Thompson, Hari Pidgeon, Matt Hawkins, Jake Francis and with his first goal for the club Brady Hollands.
The RF Saints (4th) visitors at Gainsborough Road were 5th placed side Walsham le Willows ‘B’. Walsham winning this encounter 3 – 0 with first half goals from Liam Ellis (2) and
Jordan Sylvester (1).
