OBJECTIVES AND STRATEGIES

Workshop Objectives, including specific competencies to be developed:

This week-long workshop will cover the AP Computer Science AB course with Java as outlined in the current AB course description for the 2003-2004 school year AP exam. The workshop will be fast-paced and is designed for people who are comfortable with AP Computer Science topics.

Participants will gain insight into teaching object-oriented concepts with Java and will explore tradeoffs in data structures and algorithms as emphasized in the AB course description. Participants should be comfortable with basic concepts of mathematical limits and the sessions are not appropriate for people wishing to learn programming. Participants must have an active email address listed in registration information so we may contact you with workshop details.
