You will begin when all of the First Sergeants are finished sizing the squadrons. Listen for the Charlie Sq First Sgt to say, “Charlie Squadron, Parade Hest.” That is your cue to start.

Charlie Squadron Commander(SQ/CC) comes to attention and then puts the other SQ/CCs at the position of Attention by stating, “DETAIL TENCH HUT. FORWARD HARCH.”

Begin marching forward toward the squadrons. When Delta SQ/CC reaches the tip of the Air Force Emblem, he/she will state, “QUARTER TURN HARCH.”

Note: 2.4.2. When marching, give commands for executing movements to the right when the right foot strikes the ground; give commands for executing movements to the left when the left foot strikes the ground. In commands containing two or more words, place the point of emphasis on the last word. For example, in Right Flank, give the command Flank as the right foot hits the ground.

Bravo, Charlie & DeltaSQ/CCs break off, heading toward their respective squadrons. All SQ/CCs stop two paces in front of their respective First Sgt. As Alpha SQ/CCstates,“REPORT.” (Volume of voice is semi-low). AlphaFirst Sgt salutes and states, “Sir/Ma’am,Alpha sq all present and accounted for.” Alpha SQ/CCreturns the salute. Alpha SQ/CCperforms an About Face.

Note: If you have one or more students missing, they MUST be accounted for prior to the Reveille/Retreat formation. You will then state, “Two missing and all are accounted for.”

NOTE: After Alpha SQ/CC1st sgt reports, BravoSQ/CChas his/her First Sgt report just like Alpha SQ/CCdid. The process goes on down the line until all SQ/CCs have finished. The process should have a ripple effect.

Vice President marches out. VP states, “report.” Sq/cc’s report by stating,“Alpha sqall present & accounted for.”(& so on down the line) (quarter turn prior to reporting) (“for” is one syllable)

Echo leadership, they say “parade,” you say “PARADE”

Leadership says, group, you say “SQUADRON” he/she says“tench hut.”

Leadership says “present,” you say “PRESENT,”he/she says “harms.”

Leadership says“order,” you say “ORDER,” he/she says“harms.”

At the end, president states, Squadron commanders, take charge of your squadrons.” As soon as he/she says squadrons, you all salute(get this tight).

When flag detail reaches last pole, Alpha Sq performs an about face movement and states, “ALPHA SQ, DISMISSED” (& so on down the line).
