Minutes - Les made a motion toapprove minutesas submitted and 2nd madebyAngelaunanimousvote followed.
AD report - Dedication of softball field house Thursday nightbetween games; primarily playing Glenn all sports this week;
Treasurers Report - Brad reviewed Income & Expense statement Highlights include- Camp(baseball) concessions: primarily lacrosse; donation Cliff Harwell for LAX; Fundraiser $2771; $200 softball rental; Gate reimbursement from winter sports; Golf Tournament - $2400 initial deposit; $7300 Blackhawks Donation to make final payments for concrete work ($12K in expense to Loflin) Expenses : Freezer repair; concession equipment- hot dog steamer and popcorn popper for softball & repair for popcorn popper for stadium machine; $12, 385.87 Lax to Loflin; $1401.05 relay switch for freezer and baseball leak; Net Income $2487.14 All funds are in the black Available Bal: $14,874.77 Concession margin a little low due to expenses and stocking; Eagle Wear 42%;
Committee Reports
Concessions - Les reports nota lot of activity due to weather and spring break - not planned buyDanny O’Brien had camp over the weekend- we opened concession stand and split profit with football fund. Willert ran the stand and used our stock;
Membership - Avery presented membership report up 226 members Kevin not present; he and Jeff Taylor are gearing up to start sponsorship conversations;
Team Reports:
AD Plaster reports this isEast Glenn week - should have good turn out and dedication of softball field should bring out good attendance; Eaglets had banquetprior to spring break;
Old Business:
Senior Picnic - $500 from Truliant has been provided; they are in need for another $500 as they expected $1K - historically we have not provided direct funding to the picnic
Reverse Raffle - no updates
Softball Naming - Jenny had a question on anopen invoice of $650 school system is to be pay - we believe it has been paid. Kenny is getting counter tops and we are getting a lock for the storage door - no expense to be paid. Donor sign is in place ready to go for dedication
Senior Blankets:- need to get to Eaglets, Wrestling and Basketball
New Business:
Softball needs $500 for poles to hold batting cage net that Dash Donated to replace the old one that destroyed during the snow storm. Adding blinds to window instead of roll up doors.
Scholarships:Anna not present but will be picking up forms on the 17th and will provide a date for meeting to review. Needs one more volunteer so we will have 5.
Board Nomination: no update from the committee - Brad, Ms Gainey, Darren, Brad & Les
Golf Tournament- Need about 8 volunteers around 12 pm to help with kick off activities; Plaster says some of the coaches would be available to work- we will feed players prior to play - need a few volunteers during to help with scoring during the tournament;Door prizes - we don’t have any so far - if we don’t get any we can use East Spirit Wear; Need a couple of cart drivers to volunteer as well;
Update on the tournament - 14 - 17 teams to date - if we get no more we will net $3K from the event 21 hole sponsors - Les has signed made for holes and will make signage for registration and other tables at the course. we should be able to setup inside by the bar
Avery asked for suggestions forVolunteer of the year - Les and Sue discussed as nominoees - motion made by Alan Plaster to nominate Les and second by Brad Rogers followed by a unanimous vote.
