There are inherent risks associated with a safari. As the first point of contact on the ground it is recomended that we have all guests’ personal details on hand in the event of an emergency. Limited information is also required by a number of our service providers on confirmation of a booking for operational and legal reasons and will be shared with them accordingly. The following information is requested to ensure your comfort and safety, and to manage emergancy situations that may arise during travel. PLEASE *NOTE: By choosing not to share this information with us, our response time in the event of an emergency may be compromised.

We highly recommend that all guests have comprehensive travel and medical insurance. Please check the visa and vaccination requirements for the countries being visited and ensure that our General Safari Informationhas been read in preparation for the trip.When travelling with children please refer to our Child Travel Requirements document for important informationrelating to requirements for birth certificates, singles parents travellings with kids etc. Failure to comply with these requirements may result in being denied entry on arrival.

At Safari Destinations, we use the information that is provided to us only for the reason it was gathered. That is to plan and book travel arrangements and to respond to an emergency situation that may arise during travel. We never sell or rent data to third parties. On confirmation of a booking, this data will be passed on to the relevant service providers as necessary (accommodation, transfer & activity providers on the ground). In the event of an emergency, this data may be passed on to emergency response personal, police, government officials etc. as required and deemed necessary by senior management.
