Notice of Intention to Conduct Business in Private

Notice is hereby given in accordance with Regulation 5 of the Local Authorities (Executive Arrangements) (Meetings and Access to Information) (England) Regulations 2012 that the items listed below are likely to be considered in private.

The reason that these items are likely to be considered in private is that they involve the disclosure of exempt information under the following category of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972:

1.Beeson Street

Confidential commercial and financial information related to the selection of a preferred Joint Venture partner for the Besson Street development.

2.New Homes Programme

Contains confidential commercial and financial information related to the proposals to build new homes at Edward Street for use as temporary accommodation for homeless households.

3.Contract Awards for support services for young people with housing and support needs.

Contract award of new framework agreement for Personalised Care and Support in the Home.

4.Contract award of new framework agreement for Personalised Care and Support in the Home.

In October 2016, the Mayor agreed to extend the current Preferred Provider Framework for Children & Young People’s Personalised Care and Support in the Home for the full life cycle of the contract to 31st January 2018.

Officers have been engaged in the process of establishing a new Framework Agreement. The report to be presented will set out the tendering process, and outcomes, and recommendations for which providers should be appointed on to the Framework Agreement.

5.Contract Extension for the shared care adult substance misuse services

Contract extension for a support service for those recovering from drug and alcohol problems that is delivered in partnership with GPs.

6.Provision of Homecare Services (Lead Provider) – Extension of Contract

To agree to a 1 year extension of the current contract to enable the 4 Neighbourhood Lead Providers to continue delivering homecare services

7.Equinox Mental Health Accommodation Based Service Contract Award

To request authority to award a new contract to Equinox for the provision of a Mental Health accommodation based service.

8.Grove Park Streetscape Improvement Contract Award

To award the contract for the Grove Park Station area streetscape improvement scheme following a successful tender exercise
