The study investigates the use of Music in teaching mathematics in Nigerian Primary schools. It has been observed that the most dreaded subject in Nigerian secondary schools is mathematics. This paper accesses the play-way method by which mathematics could be taught in nursery and primary schools, through the medium of music. The play-way method would be good bedrock for learning mathematics in Nursery and Primary schools. It will be an effective means of reducing mass failure in mathematics in Nigerian secondary schools, because things learnt through music have the tendency of staying longer in the memory.
