Read for a minimum of 15 minutes per night and record it in your diary.

gg as in egg
+ personal words / 3. Volume and capacity
Choose 3 household objects such as different sized containers.
Draw them up into your homework book and write in their measurements.
Make some predictions about which container will hold the most & which one will hold the least.
What is the capacity of each object? How much water/matter will fit into your objects? / 4. Life skills
Spend time rehearsing your written poem for the poetry slam. (to be explained & mostly written in class). Try to memorise it ready to perform in week 8.
Parents please sign the diary each day your child reads. / Practise your chosen words plus your personal words ready for testing on Friday. / There may be different ways of working out the capacity of each object. Make it clear in your Homework book how you have worked it out.
