1.We will follow UIL guidelines in regards to eligibility, participation and schedule of games.
2.GIRLS ONLY: If there is a C-Team the game will be at 4:30, A-Team game time is 5:30, B-Team will play afterwards-C-A-B.
3.BOYS ONLY: If there is a C-Team the game will be at 4:30, B-Team game time is 5:30, A-Team will play afterwards-C-B-A.
4.C-TEAM Games only will have running clock 1st and 3rd quarters.
5.All games will be officiated by a certified Basketball Official preferably one that does not work at the district. At least one must be present.
6.Home Team will forfeit after 30 minute however; the team has to wait if there is one on the way.
7.All games will be 6 minutes’ quarters. Junior High Schools may, by mutual consent, play 8 minute quarters.
8.No running of the clock for any team unless applying the Mercy Rule. The Mercy Rule applies to the 2nd half, once applied it cannot be withdrawn.
9.Tournaments will be a 2 game guarantee.
10.Schools hosting the tournament can schedule the games at their convenience.
11. Athletes are not allowed to participate in both the A & B Team Tournament in the same weekend.
12.There will be no make-up games in case of bad weather or if other unforeseen circumstances arise.
13. Basketballs will be provided by the Home Team.
