GENERAL

§  Students, are you interested in attending Grizzly Youth Academy in January? There will be a tour scheduled on November 2nd. You can pick up a permission slip from Community Liaison, in room 122.

§  Attention students and staff: This week is your final chance to grab last year's yearbook for a killer price! We're expecting to sell out, so make sure you get yours early! $40 at the business office.

§  Attention seniors: Now is the time to start sending in your senior portrait for the yearbook. You only have until Christmas break, so get them in ASAP. Email them to or stop by room 411 for more info. Be sure to put your name on the picture! Need even more info? Check the bulletin board next to the business office for details.

CLUBS

§  Attention students interested in going to Washington DC, with the Close Up Club: Our club is starting a new fundraiser on Monday. This is a great way to raise the funds necessary to attend the trip to DC next year. Please come to the meeting on Monday if you would like to participate in this opportunity.

§  Close Up Washington DC, club members: remember to meet at 9:00 a.m. tomorrow in room 640 to start our walk-a-thon.

SPORTS

Attention all BOYS interested in trying out for the basketball team. You must have your athletic physical before the November 4th tryout date. You also must have a 2.0 or higher GPA by the October 27th progress report to be eligible to tryout. Boy's freshmen & JV TEAM tryouts are at 8:30 A.M. on Saturday November 4th in the Wilson Gym, followed by the Varsity boy’s tryouts at 10AM. Any questions, stop by room 638 at lunch & see Coach Yamate.
