* Federal Work-Study students cannot begin work until the first day of classes on August 21, 2017 .
Students should enter time starting with the 2nd week of the pay period (August 21, 2017).
** Information on the schedule for the last two weeks of 2017 will be provided by OSU Payroll closer to the end
of the semester.

Important Reminders:

1. FWS students may not begin work prior to August 21, 2017 and may not work past May 4, 2018.

2. Students must enter and submit their time for the pay period that just ended by Monday at 8:00 a.m. After the deadline, the online timesheet will be unavailable. Students would then have to provide a paper timesheet which would be processed with the next payroll cycle and paid two weeks late.

3. Anticipated time cannot be reported on a Federal Work-Study time sheet.

4. If you have not signed up for payroll direct deposit, we encourage you to do so. This is a separate process from direct deposit of Bursar refunds. Paychecks not direct deposited must be sent through the US postal service.
To sign up for direct deposit, contact Payroll Services, 409 Whitehurst, 405-744-6372 or download the form at: http://payroll.okstate.edu/sites/default/files/documents/guides-forms/Direct_Deposit.pdf

5. Payroll Advice notices will be emailed from the Payroll office prior to pay being distributed.

6. Working during Semester Break: FWS students may work during the time between the fall and spring semesters if they and their employer agree, providing the student has remaining FWS eligibility AND is enrolled for the spring semester.
