WELCOME TO LINCROFT

Welcome to LincroftSchool for the ‘Bedfordia Trophy’ Cross-Country event. We hope that the pupils enjoy the day and that there is some fine competition. Our thanks go to Bedfordia Farming for agreeing to both sponsor the event once again this year and allowing us to use the farmers’ field next to our ‘New Field’ site.

Please help by following the code of conduct and regulations for the event – mostly to do with health and safety.

Thanks also to several Lincroft staff that have kindly volunteered (had their arms twisted) to help in the organisation of the event. Thanks also to the pupils that are giving up their afternoon lessons to marshal and to the Sharnbrook Upper School Year pupils Lily Mae Wilson, Caitlin Shirvington, Will & Callum Mullins who are kindly acting as ‘hares’ for each race.

The Cross-Country season is already in full flow and congratulations go to the boys’ team from Robert Bloomfield who finished 6th overall and the Bedford Girlswho finished 9th at the National finals of the English schools cross country cup. The Schools Cross Country league is also underway, with two events to look forward to thank you to Matt Burgin for organising this competition. Good luck to all competitors today and a full list of results will be available on the Lincroft school website.
