NOTE: Main prizes will be shared on equal points. However, category prizes will not be shared.
RULES & REGULATIONS:
ENTRY FEE: Entry forms along with entry fee of Rs. 1,000/0 payable by demand draft in favour of “Saharanpur Distt. Chess Association” payable at Saharanpur can be sent to Mr. Rajnish Kumar Goel, Organizing Secretary C/o Indica Medico, Pansari Bazar, Saharanpur – 247 001. Physically challenged, veterans (over 60 years of age as on 01.01.2010) and North Eastern States players will be entitled for 50% discount in entry fee. However, there will be no discount in CAI Registration.
LAST DATE OF ENTRY: Entries can be sent to Mr. Rajnish Kumar Goel, Org. Secretary, India Medico, Pansari Bazar, Saharanpur – 247 001, U.P. on or before 10th September 2010. However entry will be accepted up-to 5.00 PM on 18th September 2010 with a late fee of Rs. 300/- per player.
REGISTRATION: CAI Registration is must for all participants. Those who are not already registered with CAI will have to make payment of registration fee of Rs.100/-.
ACCOMODATION: Free accommodation at Aggarwal Dharmshala will be provided to outstation players who have confirmed their entry before the last date of entry. Accompanying person will have to make their own arrangement.
TOURNAMENT RULES: Tournament will be conducted in 11 round Swiss System as per international chess rules known as FIDE Laws of Chess.
TIE BREAK: In case of a tie, the latest FIDE Rules shall apply.
