JobPurpose:To support the Quality Assurance Manager in ensuring all qualifications and qualification systems and processes are sufficient and effective.

MainDutiesandResponsibilities
- To co-ordinate the registration and claiming of all qualifications, liaising with departmental managers to discuss registration and qualification needs.
- To register and claim qualification when required.
- To co-ordinate the timetable of Internal verification visits, logging visit, claims status and disseminating reports
- To co-ordinate a timetable of standardisation for each route within WEA YMCA CC Cymru and work with the Quality Assurance Manager to share best practice across the network.
- To identify, analyse and monitor outstanding qualifications across WEA YMCA CC Cymru.
- To communicate with Awarding Organisation representatives to identify, monitor or resolve any qualification issues.
- To liaise with WEA YMCA CC Cymru’s qualification awarding bodies to keep abreast of developments of the qualifications delivered. This includes the management of the on-line administrative databases supplied by awarding bodies.
- To support the Quality Assurance & Qualifications Manager in any communication with Awarding Organisations, WEA YMCA CC Cymru staff and other stakeholder organisations.
- To provide training for new or existing staff on qualification processes and procedures.
- To ensure all qualifications are current and fit for purpose and communicate any Awarding Organisation or Sector Skills changes.
- To ensure the qualifications catalogue is kept up to date.
- To liaise with other departments and partner organisations to ensure all registrations/claims are received on time.
- To authorise expenditure, signing qualifications related agreements where necessary.
- Any other duties as requested by your manager, which may be necessary from time to time.
