Ammo:Any SAFE ammo allowed. NO Tracer, Armor Piercing, or Incendiary allowed.

GSMM Match Service Rifle Excellence-In-Competition (EIC) Match

All shooting from 200 yd line, SR-1 target, No refires (alibi relays).Nosighting shots. No refires (Alibi relays)

Garand/Springfield/Vintage/Modern Military Rifles (GSMM)10shots standing slow fire, 10 minutes, 200 yds, SR-1 target

15 rounds prone slow fire, (1st-5 sighters), 15 minutes.10 shots sitting rapid fire, 60 seconds, 200 yds, SR-1 target

10 rounds prone rapid fire, 80 seconds.10 shots prone rapid fire, 70 seconds, 300 yds, SR-3 target

10 rounds standing slow fire, 10 minutes.20 shots prone slow fire, 20 minutes, 600 yds, MR-1 target

Anyone shooting the EIC match from the 300/600 yard lines should have established zeroes prior to the match.

Awards

GSMM:Open awards for 1stplace 5 shooters, 2nd place 10 shooters, and 3rd place 15 shooters.

CMP Achievement Pins will be awarded for qualified scores.

EIC Match:CMP will award EIC credit points, badges, and achievement awards

(Distinguished or Non-Distinguished) to competitors who qualify.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Squadding:All competitors will be registered/squaded prior to matches & score/operate targets as assigned.

Food:No food facilities during the day and no lunch breaks. Bring your own food.

Water: Drinking water will be available on the line and in the pits.

Trash:What you carry in, you carry out.

SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT

EMPTY CHAMBER INDICATORS (EIC’s) MUST BE VISIBLE IN RIFLE CHAMBER AT ALL TIMES

It is each shooters responsibility to show they can handle, operate, and fire their weapon in a safe manner.

Any shooter judged unable to conduct themselves in this way will be removed from the firing line.

This is entirely at the discretion of the range officer calling the line. No refund will be given.

When the rifle is loaded for shooting, at no time will the muzzle be allowed to be above the berm/targets
