Ritual Competition

Utah Job’s Daughters

2016 RITUAL COMPETITION

Dear Utah Jobies,

It is time for the State Ritual Competition. I would like to encourage each Daughter to compete. The competition will be held on February 6, 2016 at the Salt Lake Masonic Temple in Salt Lake City. Competition times will begin at 8:30am.

If we have enough Judges/volunteers we should be finished around noon. This also depends on the number of Daughters we have competing.

We are asking that each Bethel provide 4 adults to help with this competition for judging, tellers, etc. Please send the names of adults who can help when you send your Bethel forms. To ensure consistency with judging, we request those wanting to judge to commit to judging all the Daughters in a category.

I have enclosed in the packet:

THE GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

Letter from the Vice Grand Guardian about the State Ritual Team

Entry forms for:

Majority Members individuals

Majority Members teams

Jobie-2-Bee

DEADLINE: ENTRIES MUST BE POSTMARKED BY January 15, 2016

December 1, 2015

Dear Utah State Jobies,

I would like to encourage you to try out for the 2016-2017 Utah State Ritual Team at this year’s state Ritual Competition to be held on February 6, 2016.

For those Daughters who may not know what the State Ritual Team does, they are the Daughters who will compete at Supreme in Grand Rapids, Michigan to represent our state at the Supreme Ritual Competition. They will be asked to help at Bethel meetings throughout the state by proteming as needed and perform ceremonies as requested by the Grand Guardian. This is a great opportunity for you girls to get to know other Jobies from around the state, show off your talents and assist each other.

To qualify, you must participate at our Utah State Ritual Competition and not have turned twenty, (20), years old as of July 26, 2016.

We will then select the Daughters with the top scores in the state as the 2016-2017 State Ritual Team or their alternates. If you have any questions, please contact me.

Thank you,

Shannon Hawkins

Vice Grand Guardian

A friend is someone we turn to when our spirits need a lift.

A friend is someone we treasure for true friendship is a gift.

A friend is someone we laugh with over little personal things.

A friend is someone we are serious with in facing whatever life may bring.
