Experience in stem cell transplant
Worked as transplant registrar in CMC Vellore. In this period I was part of the team doing Autologous transplant and Allogenic transplant including 4 Matched Unrelated Donor and a Haploidentical transplant.
At IHTM Kolkata: worked in 5 bedded transplant unit for myeloma and lymphoma.
At Vancouver General Hospital, Canada: worked in leukemia/BMT unit. Exposed to all kinds of transplants like Bone marrow/Umbilical cord/Matched unrelated Transplant.
DISSERTATIONS
During my M.D.residency(Feb 2004-April 2007), I did a dissertation under the guidance of my post-graduate teacher, Dr. M.B.Agarwal, Professor, Department of Medicine, Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College,Sion,Mumbai,Maharashtra-400022.
The topic for dissertation was: “A STUDY OF CLINICAL, HAEMATOLOGICAL & HISTOMORPHOLOGICAL PROFILE OF MYELODYSPLASTIC SYNDROMES”.
During my D.M.residency (Aug 2010-July 2013), I did a dissertation on the topic “Analysis of Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia patients treated with BFM protocol in a tertiary care centre”. This is an analysis comparing outcomes of ALL patients treated with BFM 90 versus BFM 2002 Protocol under my guide Dr.Prantar Chakrabarti.
